A Career for Life
Yesterday I had the privilege of meeting my oldest student so far, I say student, I think he could of taught me quite a bit! In these days when we are, quite rightly, putting effort into encouraging young lads and lasses into the electrical industry, it is sometimes good to realise there is a LOT of skills and knowledge at the other end of the age spectrum! Experience which we must not allow just to wander off into the sunset, but should look to harness and share and learn from. The guy was still, keen, enthusiastic and wanting to learn and be involved in the industry, and regularly contributes to forums etc, and here he was doing his 18th Edition (he started on the 13th) at the ripe 'mature' age of 83 ... and yes he did pass. Well done 'J' , and long may you continue!
